Description: There was an article going around last year about Kukkiwon developing a new, more realistic sparring style for Taekwondo as an alternative to the nonsense seen in today's Olympics. If the article was true, it's supposedly a modern ruleset much more useful for outside of sport than WT's ridiculous foot-fencing or ITF's awkward semi-contact sparring. Hopefully we will finally get something official resembling a modern full-contact Taekwondo Kickboxing sport. Here's an example of what that sparring might look like if Kukkiwon were to choose a much less restrictive kickboxing format for its ruleset.
